I absolutely adore Berke Breathed, so much so that I might end up buying two of these damned things. Either way, Bloom County was comic strip genius the likes of which wasn't seen again until Calvin & Hobbes.

I liked the second Transformers movie. I don’t know what people’s problem is when it comes to these things. Essentially, you are going to go see a movie based on a cartoon that was a 30 minute commercial for a line of toys. If you get a plot at all, consider yourself lucky. If that plot is slightly better than the normal plot surrounding professional wrestling, then you’ve been really fortunate.

I only wish that Jetfire Optimus Prime got more screentime as he was fuckin’ awesome. Beyond that, I also really liked the Autobot sisters, Arcee, Chromia, and Flare-up. The whole chicks on bikes thing has been done before, but the whole chicks that are bikes is something new. So dig on the art below and relax, it’s a movie about robots beating the shit out of each other.

Back in college my friend John introduced me to this German band called Rammstein. Today, I fairly well own every album Rammstein ever made and I still listen to them on a regular basis.

Welp, apparently the boys got back together for a little Deutsch thrashing and put together an X-rated music video called, appropriately enough, Pussy. It’s hilarious, and yes it’s totally X-rated. It shows that even hardcore German industrial metal bands can kick back and have a laugh at themselves. And hey, given the standard subject matter of Rammstein’s music, this song is basically an attempt at bubblegum pop.

Which is, I think, exactly the thing they’re making fun of. And, while they make fun of it, they happen to be getting laid.

Ya know, I need to start a metal band.

Mike Thompson designed this clever wifi network detector in the shape of a dowsing rod to apparently make it easier for anyone to use. “By basing the design for a wireless internet detector on century’s old technology, the user feels immediately at home with the product, whilst feeling less intimidated by the simple shape and natural materials.”

But I’ll be honest here, I’ve tried using a dowsing rod before and quite frankly, I’m not sold on the technology. My results were less than successful. But wifi detectors? I’ve never had a problem getting them to work. So maybe for his next project Mike could design a dowsing rod that looks and works like a wifi network detector, but for finding sources of water.

Soda is a standard part of any night out in the world of D&D. Given the fact that Jones makes some of the best soda in the world, I simply have to try these.
